Hey Grace Family. I’m Nina S. Jones — and if you’re reading this, I want you to know that nothing about your landing here is accidental.
I am a devoted wife, a mother, and a grandmother — yes, Gammi is in the building! 😄 — but long before any of those beautiful titles, I was a woman who had to fight her way back to herself. And honey, that fight was real.
I am a survivor of domestic violence. I lived it, I endured it, and by the grace of God — I walked out of it. But surviving was only the beginning of my story. Because somewhere on the other side of the pain, the fear, and the shame, I stopped being a survivor and became something greater — a thriver. And then God took me even further — into conqueror territory. That is where I live now, and that is exactly where I want to take you.
My journey hasn’t been a straight line. I have walked through seasons so dark I couldn’t see my own hand in front of me. I lost three of my siblings in a span of time that nearly broke me. I spent 120 days incarcerated — a chapter of my life that could have defined me, but instead refined me. I have sat in the valley, cried at the bottom, and wondered if God still saw me down there.
He did. He always did.
Out of every broken piece, every tear, every moment I thought I wouldn’t make it — God was sowing something. And in His time, He brought forth The Harvest of Hope.
That is the name of my book, and it is also the story of my life. The Harvest of Hope: Sowing Seeds From My Broken Pieces is my testimony in print — written for every woman who has ever wondered if her story was too broken to be used for something beautiful.
Spoiler alert: it is not.
I am also a Certified Domestic Violence Specialist — not just by training, but by lived experience. That certification means something different when you’ve been on the other side of it. When I walk into a room to speak, advocate, or simply sit with a survivor, I don’t come with theory. I come with the truth. My truth. And I come with hope — because if God brought me through it, He can bring you through it too.
In 2024 I launched The Say Your Grace Initiative — a faith-based platform where grace meets real life. Through my YouTube channel, my devotionals, my books and journals, my wellness brand Sow & Glow Wellness, and my speaking engagements, I am on a mission to remind every soul who finds their way here that we don’t just go through things — we GROW through them.
This is not a highlight reel. This is Real SOUL Talk.
So pull up a chair, grab your cup, and stay a while. There is enough grace here for all of us.
And no matter what life throws your way, always remember to Say Your Grace. 💛
