The Say Your Grace Initiative

I am Nina S. Jones — Survivor, Thriver, and Conqueror — and if you found your way here, I believe it was on purpose.

This is The Say Your Grace Initiative, and I call it that on purpose.

Growing up, “saying grace” meant pausing before a meal to give thanks for what was in front of you. But now, Say Your Grace means something more to me — it’s a declaration. It’s choosing to give thanks, to speak truth, and hope over your life, even in the middle of the mess. It’s acknowledging what God has already done, and trusting what He’s still doing.

It’s not just a page or a passion project — I am taking the initiative because God’s amazing grace took the initiative on me first, stepping into the middle of my mess before I ever knew I needed it. It’s only right that I step out and do something with it.

Here is what I am taking the initiative for: the woman still fighting for her voice, her safety, her children, her next breath. The woman carrying shame, convinced her mistakes made her too broken to be used. The woman haunted by her past, unable to see her way into her future. The woman counted out and left to figure it out alone — with no one reaching back the way grace reached back and rescued me.

This initiative exists to be that hand — my testimony turned into advocacy, resources, community, and grace-filled truth in the ordinary, everyday moments.

This is a space where grace meets real life. Where we don’t just survive — we GROW through what we GO through. I created it for you, for me, and for every soul that needed somewhere safe to land.

I’m so glad you’re here. Now let’s Say Our Grace.

Say it. Mean it. Believe it. God is already standing right there with you when you do. 💛

My Story

From Rock
Bottom to
Rooted in Grace

Read My Full Story

From Rock Bottom to Rooted in Grace — this is the short version of a story I never thought I’d be brave enough to tell.

The long version — the whole, unfiltered, only-GOD-could-have-brought-me-through-this journey — lives on My Story page, and I want you to read it when you’re ready. But I’ll tell you this much right here: I tell my story because I needed somebody to tell me theirs — and nobody ever did. Nobody sat across from me in my darkest season and said “me too.” Nobody showed me what the other side looked like or handed me hope when I had run completely out of my own. So when God brought me through — and He did bring me through — I made a decision to be “that” somebody that nobody else was for me. To be the voice I never heard, the presence I never felt, and the proof I never had that healing was actually possible. Because somewhere out there is a woman sitting exactly where I once sat — and she needs to know she is not alone. This one’s for HER.

Survivor. Thriver. CONQUEROR

As a Certified Domestic Violence Specialist, Nina shows up wherever women need to hear that surviving is just the beginning — from the church pew to the conference stage, from the shelter floor to the workplace boardroom. She has lived every stage of this journey. She knows what it feels like to barely make it out. She knows what it takes to stand back up and start thriving. And she knows the indescribable freedom that waits on the other side when you finally step into your identity as a conqueror. She speaks candidly about intimate partner violence and the messy, beautiful, grace-covered journey from Survivor to Thriver to Conqueror — not because it’s easy to tell. Because someone in that room needs to hear it. And that someone deserves to know that her story doesn’t end at survival. It ends in victory.
